Franklin, Jacob Abraham

Franklin, Jacob Abraham
   English editor and communal leader. He founded and edited the journal Voice of Jacob as a forum for anti-Reform opinion. He was active in communal organizations and left most of his fortune to endow educa-tional projects, including the publication of Jewish textbooks.
